The BERMAD Model 43T is an elastomeric-sealed pilot-operated pressure relief valve designed specifically for modern fire suppression systems and to meet the latest industry standards. It prevents damage to piping systems from excessive pressure by maintaining a set upper pressure threshold regardless of pressure spikes and fluctuating conditions. With its exceptional reliability and low pressure drop, this valve is ideal for pressure relief at the outlet of fire pumps. The Model 43T reliably relieves excess system pressure to the tank or atmosphere, meeting all NFPA, UL and FM requirements for fire pump service. The valve is also suitable for maintaining pressure at the foam concentrate outlet for a balanced distribution system. As an option, the 43T can be equipped with a valve position indicator that can include a limit switch suitable for fire and gas monitoring systems.
